Online information session: Managing Sleep
Managing Sleep
Getting a restful night’s sleep with arthritis can be a real challenge.
Join us for our Information talk or Information and support information session, where we’ll help you explore your own sleep habits, learn about sleep hygiene, and identify the obstacles that might be preventing you from getting the rest you need.
Our facilitators will provide a short talk on the importance of sleep and share strategies for creating healthier sleep habits. There will also be plenty of time for you to share your own experiences, as well as learn from others in the group about what has worked for them and what changes you might try.
I appreciated having a sleep workshop free of charge and delivered by a member of Arthritis UK staff who also had arthritis and spoke with empathy and understanding on how how having arthritis can impact daily life.
There are two types of session you can join:
- a 1-hour information talk, or
- a 2-hour information and support session where you'll have the opportunity to chat and share your experiences — if you feel comfortable doing so — and access peer support.
