Online information session: Managing Fatigue

Managing Fatigue

Fatigue, like pain, is one of the most common and debilitating symptoms of arthritis.

These Health Information sessions will help you understand what fatigue is and how it can affect you. We’ll explore the impact and frustration that comes with chronic exhaustion and discuss strategies to better manage these challenging periods.

The information and support sessions offer a space to connect and share ideas for putting information into action.

I genuinely didn't know after 4 years with Rheumatoid arthritis that fatigue is a known link and I've never mentioned it to my consultant, instead I've just thought I need to stop being lazy and push myself, then of course I'd be wiped out for days. Our trainer was absolutely brilliant at explaining the link and how to get support for this.

There are two types of session you can join:

  • a 1-hour information talk, or
  • a 2-hour information session with access to peer support. You'll have the opportunity to chat and share your experiences if you feel comfortable doing so and access peer support.
