Online information session: Managing Fibromyalgia
Managing Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is becoming more common, but it’s still a condition that many don’t fully understand, and getting a diagnosis can often be a long and challenging journey.
These Health Information sessions will provide an overview of fibromyalgia, including its common symptoms, the diagnosis process, and the impact it can have on daily life. We’ll also address some of the myths surrounding the condition and explore effective ways to manage symptoms.
These sessions provide opportunities for anyone living with fibromyalgia to connect with others in similar situations, share experiences, and offer support to one another.
There are two types of session you can join:
- a 1-hour information talk, or
- a 2-hour information session with access to peer support. You'll have the opportunity to chat and share your experiences if you feel comfortable doing so and access peer support.
