GP Partner with Extended Role in Musculoskeletal Medicine
Dr Daniel Wardleworth is a GP partner in Haworth, West Yorkshire part of the Modality group. He is a GP with an Extended Role in Musculoskeletal Medicine.
During his GP training, he completed a community post in MSK sponsored by Arthritis UK. He enjoys passing on his knowledge and skills to medical students, GP trainees and colleagues alike.
Areas of professional expertise
All aspects of Musculoskeletal Medicine applicable to General Practice. I particularly enjoy teaching on Osteoarthritis, Chronic pain and Fibromyalgia.
Work/role with Arthritis UK and why our training is so important:
"I'm an MSK SKILLs trainer for Arthritis UK. The training courses are very focussed on the needs of clinicians working in Primary Care. The main theme is to improve our communications skills in managing MSK presentations. Alongside this, the courses develop our knowledge and examination skills to give clinicians more confidence in delivering excellent care to their patients."
