MSK Pathways to Recovery: Clinical Leadership in Action 2026

Our NI health professional facing event came around quickly in 2026 after a year's break! ‘MSK Pathways to Recovery: Clinical Leadership in Action’ was designed to:

• Build on the launch of the NI report 'Prioritising Musculoskeletal Healthcare in Northern Ireland' in February this year by highlighting one of the calls to action: Improve care pathways & diagnosis.
• Provide an evening of insight, inspiration and learning for those shaping MSK care in Northern Ireland.
• Provide real‑world examples of improving MSK care pathways and diagnosis and clinical leadership and innovation across primary, secondary and community care.
• Provide opportunity for shared learning, discussion and networking with peers and decision‑makers.

We had 7 speakers across 6 sessions from a range of disciplines - including the Department of Health, Primary Care, Orthopaedics and Education and individuals with Lived Experience.

Our engaged and motivated healthcare professionals and leaders audience rated the event 'extremely' or 'very useful' to their professional practice, with many making new connections, and energised to follow up on themes raised in the report and brought to life by the speakers.
