Trek Kilimanjaro 2027 and 2028
A very challenging altitude trek through forest and moorland following the Machame route to the snow-capped summit. An iconic trek.
Walk towards a future free from arthritis
Location: Tanzania, Africa
Date: Various dates in 2027 and 2028
Climb the highest freestanding mountain in the world! Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the African continent at 5895m. Its snow-capped summit rises high above the dusty African plains; huge permanent glaciers flow down from the summit, spectacular views and beautiful ice formations are the reward for pushing your limits both physically and mentally.
This trek will follow the Machame route, allowing gradual acclimatisation to the altitude and an excellent chance of reaching the summit. You’ll pass through thick forest, moorland and scree on route to Uhuru Peak, the highest point.
This challenge is grade red. Generally, at altitude and in exposed, tough terrain; days are generally long. These challenged demand total dedication and commitment. Living conditions are taken into account.
