Set in the stunning Lake District, this challenge takes you through tough hills, famous lakes, and forests and nature reserves.

Looking to improve your fitness, go weekend adventuring, or challenge yourself for 2026? Set in the stunning Lake District, this ultra challenge takes you through a couple of tough hills, the Garburn Pass, historic Ambleside, a halfway point by Lake Windermere, and forests and nature reserves. Having taken in some stunning views on a momentous journey, you'll receive a huge welcome and celebration back at basecamp. 

Choose from 100km, 50km, 25km and 10km distance options, with full hospitality and support, including food, drinks and medics.

What to expect as an Arthritis UK walker

Funding options

Full sponsorship for charity

You pay a smaller registration fee for the event and then fundraise the target amount (with our support of course)  

  • 100 km - £50 Registration fee and a fundraising target of £575 
  • 75 km - £45 Registration fee and a fundraising target of £475
  • 50km - £40 Registration fee and a fundraising target of £375 
  • 25km - £30 Registration fee and a fundraising target of £275 
  • 10km - £20 Registration fee and a fundraising target of £100 

Self funding

You pay the full cost of your registration fee and you can choose whether to fundraise 

  • 100 km - £199 Registration fee and set your own personal fundraising target 
  • 75km - £169 Registration fee and set your own personal fundraising target 
  • 50km - £139 Registration fee and set your own personal fundraising target 
  • 25km - £89 Registration fee and set your own personal fundraising target 
  • 10km - £39 Registration fee and set your own personal fundraising target 

Mixed funding for charity

A mixture of the two with an amount towards the registration fee but also a smaller fundraising target 

  • 100km - £110 Registration fee and a fundraising target of £330 
  • 75km - £90 Registration fee and a fundraising target of £270 
  • 50km - £75 Registration fee and a fundraising target of £225 
  • 25km - £50 Registration fee and a fundraising target of £150 
  • 10km - £22.50 Registration fee and a fundraising target of £70
