Set in the magnificent Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District, this weekend long event calls all swimmers to take on their distance of choice. Whether you are an experienced swimmer or just enjoy the feeling of the water, this event might be for you. Over 10,000 join this weekend each year, making the atmosphere one of community and a love for swimming.
Expect stunning scenery, the best of local food and drink, outdoor activities, culture, art and history. Think of it more as an open water adventure than a race. There's plenty to keep swimmers and spectators entertained throughout the weekend around Windermere and Brockhole.
