This group meets every Wednesday
2.00 pm to 3.00 pm, except the 3rd Wednesday of the month when the group meets from 2:00 to 3:30pm and enjoys peer support and refreshments, as well as a gentle activity.

Our lovely volunteers, Ruth and Jan, will guide you through gentle yoga and Tai Chi or Chi Me sessions which can be done standing or seated, as well as boccia and more!
The gentle exercises and activities help improve mobility and gain muscle strength to support joints. Helping you to self-manage your condition and everyday tasks. Every individual will be able to work at their own pace and within their range of comfort. There will be exercises and yoga movements both seated and standing using the support of the chair.
Ruth’s also practices breath work (pranayama) and relaxation practices to help restore balance to the body’s mental, and emotional wellbeing to help self-manage stress and anxiety often associated with everyday physical challenges.
