Your patients don’t need to face arthritis alone. We have a wide range of health information that you or your patient can access via the Arthritis UK website in digital or hard copy.
Or your patient might prefer to talk to one of trained helpline advisors directly, our patient referral form is a quick and easy to connect your patients to our helpline.
By using this form, you ensure that your patient will receive timely and tailored support that can help them with a wide range of topics, such as:
- understanding and managing their condition
- medication and treatment options
- information on managing pain and flare-ups
- self-help (healthy eating, exercise, complementary therapies)
- surgery (pre and post)
- services available.

The form is designed to be completed during an appointment and requires the patient's consent. It only asks for the most essential information, ensuring a fast process for you and for your patient.
How helpline referral works
To make a referral, simply provide a few details about you, your patient, their condition and the reason for the referral.
Once submitted, you’ll receive an email confirmation. Our team will contact your patient within seven working days. If we're unable to reach them, we'll leave a message and/or email them our contact details so they can call us back.
